What This Code Means

The status banner displays ACTIVE when a monitor module programmed with a Trouble Monitor Type Code (such as AUDIO SYSTEM or POWER MONITR) is activated. These modules monitor external system functions that produce trouble signals.

Common Causes

2Power supply fault detected by a power monitor module
3Activation of a monitored system function that indicates a trouble condition

Resolution Steps

Press the ACKNOWLEDGE/SCROLL DISPLAY key to silence the panel sounder. Check the LCD display for the specific location and type of device reporting the trouble. Investigate and correct the condition causing the trouble in the monitored equipment. The panel will automatically return to normal once the condition is cleared, as these modules are non-latching.
