What This Code Means

A ground fault or line fault has been detected on Phone Line 2 of the dialer.

Common Causes

1Cut or disconnected phone line
2Loss of telco voltage
3Ground fault on the telephone circuit

Resolution Steps

Check the RJ31X jack and wiring for Line 2. Measure the DC voltage on the line to ensure telco service is active. Inspect for any ground faults on the incoming telco wiring.
