How do I add a remote annunciator or display to the iO64?
To add a remote annunciator to an iO64, connect the device to the TB4 terminal and configure it through the panel's Advanced Program menu. The system supports up to eight supervised annunciators on an RS-485 loop with a maximum length of 4,000 feet (Page 18, 19) [1].
-
Set a unique address on the back of the annunciator using its DIP switches (Page 129) [1].
-
Wire the annunciator to the TB4 terminal; note that Class A wiring on an iO64 requires the installation of an SA-CLA card (Page 19, 31) [1].
-
Provide 24 VDC power to the annunciator using the Aux 1 continuous power output (Page 31) [1].
-
On the panel, navigate to Programming > Advanced Program (Level 2 password) > Panel Configuration > Annunciator (Page 130) [1].
-
Select the specific annunciator number and set the Annunciator Type (LCD-C, LCD, LED, or Graphic) and the number of Expanders (Page 129) [1].
-
Enter a text Label, configure Event Notification settings, and select Save (Page 129, 130) [1].
