The iO1000 uses electronic addressing for all Addressable Signature series devices, meaning there are no physical dip switches or rotary dials to set on the detectors or modules (Page 1) [2].

Addresses are assigned automatically through the panel's automatic device mapping feature or manually using a handheld programmer (Page 2) [3].

Addressing Scheme (per loop):

  • Detectors: Addresses 1 through 125 (Page 124) [1].

  • Modules: Addresses 126 through 250 (Page 124) [1].

To configure or change device settings at the panel:

  1. Press the Menu button and select Programming.
  2. Select Advanced Program and enter the Level 2 password.
  3. Select Device and choose the appropriate SLC loop.
  4. Enter the device address you wish to configure (1-125 for detectors, 126-250 for modules).
  5. Modify the device type or label as needed and select Save (Page 124) [1].

Verify with current documentation before making changes.
