The iO1000 is Class A Ready and does not require an expansion card for Class A wiring (Page 6) [1].
To configure this, you must program the NACs in pairs (one odd and one even) and adjust the physical jumpers on the main circuit board.
Press the Menu button, select Programming, then Advanced Program (Level 2).
Choose Panel Configuration and then Panel NAC (Page 136) [1].
Select the NAC number and change the Class setting from Class B to Class A (Page 139) [1].
Program the second NAC in the pair (e.g., NAC 2 if you started with NAC 1) to the same class and output type (Page 28) [1].
Set the physical NAC jumpers on the circuit board to the A position to match your programming (Page 28) [1].
Select Save to confirm the changes; the panel will sound a long beep for confirmation.
Note: If NAC 1 and 2 are configured for Class A, NAC 3 and 4 are automatically used for the return and are no longer available for independent use (Page 136, 139) [1].
