To connect the iO64 for IP monitoring, you must install the optional SA-ETH Ethernet module, which provides a 10/100 Base T network connection [1].
This module allows the panel to transmit event information to a central monitoring station (CMS) using the Contact ID (CID) format, which is the only format supported for Ethernet reporting (Page 148) [1].
First, install the SA-ETH card in the cabinet and connect it to the main circuit board (Page 5) [1].
Next, connect the card to the local network equipment using a Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable with a maximum wire run of 200 feet or 60 meters (Page 40) [1].
You must then access the Panel Configuration menu to set the card's IP address, subnet mask (MSK), and gateway (GWY) (Page 151) [1].
Finally, enable the CMS Network operation in the programming menu and enter the CMS IP address, port number (0 to 65535, excluding 1024), receiver number, and line number provided by the monitoring station (Page 148) [1].
Note that each account must use a unique port number to avoid the panel disabling accounts (Page 148) [1].
