To program zones on the Silent Knight 6820, which supports up to 999 software zones, you must access the Zone Menu within the panel's programming options (Page 1, 92) [1].
Login to the panel and select 7 for Program Menu.
Press 2 to enter the Zone Menu.
Press 1 to Edit a Zone, then enter the desired zone number and press ENTER (Page 92) [1].
To create a custom label, press 1 for Edit Zone Name. Use the up/down arrow keys to scroll through characters (starting with "A"), press ENTER to select a character, and use the right arrow to move to the next position (Page 92) [1].
To assign properties or mapping, press 2 for Edit Zone Properties. This menu allows you to configure zone type, detector sensitivity, and zone output mapping (Page 92) [1].
