How do I program zones and assign addressable points to zones using the MS-5024 front panel keypad?

The MS-5024UD is a conventional panel, so you won't be assigning addressable points in the software. Instead, you assign devices to zones by physically wiring them to the specific zone terminals on the panel (Page 140) [1].

To program the function of the five physical zones using the keypad, you'll need to use memory addresses 57 through 61 (Page 45) [1].

For each address, enter the digit for the device type: '0' for smoke detectors, '1' for pull stations, '2' for N.O. contacts, '3' for supervisory, or '4' for autoresettable supervisory (Page 45) [1].

Zone 3 also supports '5' or '6' for waterflow (Page 45) [1].
