How do I troubleshoot a ground fault on the Gamewell-FCI MXL?

I couldn't find information for Gamewell-FCI in our manuals, but here is the ground fault procedure for the Siemens MXL-IQ. Use the TEST menu to determine if the fault is PLUS (positive side) or MINUS (negative side) (Page 93-94) [1].

Access the GND_FLT option under the TEST menu and select MAIN to view the current status (Page 93) [1].

Use a VOM (Simpson 260 or equivalent) to measure resistance between field wiring terminals and the chassis; a normal reading is >1M ohm (Page 33) [1].

Locate the specific loop or device causing the low impedance to earth ground (Page 94, 146) [1].

The system display will automatically return to OK once the ground fault is corrected (Page 94) [1].
