Wiring requires four wires: two for EIA-485 communications (twisted pair) and two for filtered, non-resettable 24 VDC power (Page 1, 38) [1].
Power Down: Remove all AC and DC power from the FACP before installation (Page 37) [1].
Set Addressing: Use the rotary dial on each device to set a unique address between 01 and 15; address 00 is invalid (Page 37) [1].
Main Bus: Connect the FACP AIO-BUS to connector P6 on the ACM-30 configured as a router (Page 38) [1].
Peripherals: Use connectors P3 or P4 with ribbon cables (6-inch for same row, 48-inch for different rows) to connect up to 15 peripheral ACM-30s to each router (Page 38) [1].
Enrollment: On N16 panels version 6.x or higher, use the ENROLL DEVICES touch point on the display to automatically recognize devices on the bus [1].
Programming: Use VeriFire Tools to customize buttons and LEDs in either Independent Mode (60 points) or Cooperate Mode (Page 1, 2) [1].
