What are the NAC circuit specifications for the MS-9600?
0
The MS-9600 provides four Style Y (Class B) or two Style Z (Class A) notification appliance circuits (NACs) at terminal TB4. These circuits are supervised and power-limited with a nominal operating voltage of 24 VDC. (Page 14, 15) [1]
Electrical Specifications
- Current Limits: Maximum signaling current is 3.0 A per circuit for special applications and 300 mA for regulated power. (Page 15) [1] The total shared current between all NACs and auxiliary power outputs cannot exceed 7.0 A. (Page 14) [1]
- Wiring Requirements: Maximum voltage drop in wiring is 2.0 VDC. (Page 14) [1] Class B circuits require a 4.7K ohm, 1/2 watt end-of-line resistor (P/N 71252). (Page 15) [1]
- Configuration: NACs are configured for Style Y or Style Z by orienting the NACKEY card in jumper JP8. (Page 32) [1]
- Synchronization: Selectable strobe synchronization is available for System Sensor, Wheelock, and Gentex devices. (Page 11) [1]
