Verify the panel is in Normal Mode and no active communications are ongoing with the Central Station (Page 156) [4].
Initiate the connection from the Service Terminal; the panel will answer and establish a basic modem connection (Page 156) [4].
The panel verifies the secret code and panel identification number before allowing data processing (Page 154) [4].
If callback is enabled, the panel hangs up, contacts the Central Station to report the request, and then calls the Service Terminal back to begin the transfer (Page 154) [4].
If callback is disabled, the data transfer proceeds immediately after security clearance (Page 154) [4].
After a successful download, you must print or manually verify all programmed entries and test all affected panel operations (Page 154) [4].
