What is the correct NAC wiring for the MS-5024, and how do I configure it for coded or steady output?

The MS-5024 provides two Style Y (Class B) Notification Appliance Circuits (NACs) rated at 1.5 amps each, with a total panel capacity of 3.6 amps [8], [11].
Standard wiring requires a 4.7K ohm, 1/2-watt End-of-Line Resistor (P/N 71252) across the last device on the circuit [8].
To convert these to Style Z (Class A), an NACA-2F converter module is required [8], [12].
Configuration for coded or steady output is performed through the onboard keypad using the following programming addresses:
-
Access the programming mode via the onboard keypad [12].
-
Navigate to address 72 for NAC #1 or address 76 for NAC #2 [1], [13].
-
Enter the digit corresponding to the desired output type:
- 0: Steady (Factory Default)
- 1: March Time (120 ppm)
- 2: California (10 seconds on, 5 seconds off)
- 3: Temporal (0.5s on/off pattern) [1], [13].
