I couldn't find a factory reset procedure specifically for the MS-5024 in the provided manuals. However, the MS-5024UD uses the following procedure to return all program entries to factory original settings:**

1. Ensure the system is idle in Normal standby condition.
2. Press the MODE key, enter the 4-digit code 3337 (which spells DEFP), and press the [ENTER/STORE] key.
3. Within five seconds, repeat this entry by again pressing MODE, entering 3337, and pressing [ENTER/STORE].
4. The display will read 3337 while the memory is being reprogrammed and will go blank when the process is complete (Page 49) [1].
