What This Code Means

This message is displayed when the system performs a Soft Reset, indicating the system is initializing before returning to Normal mode.

Common Causes

1Pressing the RESET key on the MKB-4 keyboard
2Activation of a Local Reset Causing input on a MID-16 or CZM-4 module
3Completion of a Soft Reset after acknowledging all system conditions and silencing audibles

Resolution Steps

To perform a Soft Reset, press RESET on the MKB-4. Soft reset does not work until you acknowledge all alarms, supervisories, security conditions and troubles and silence the audibles. When the System performs a Soft Reset, the display shows the message SYSTEM RESET and then returns to Normal mode.
