The system has detected an unintended connection to ground or an incorrect configuration of the earth fault detection jumpers on multiple power supply modules.

Common Causes

1Earth fault detection jumper is active on PSM 2 or PSM 3 when using more than one module
2Protective earthing (PE) connection is not connected to the correct terminal
3Functional earth (FE) is not connected to the PE rail
4The fire alarm system is connected to an IT power supply system

Resolution Steps

Deactivate the earth fault detection using the jumper on the side of PSM 2 and PSM 3 if more than one power supply module is used. Ensure the network side protective earthing (PE) connection is connected to the correct terminal and the functional earth (FE) is connected to the PE rail. Verify that the system is not connected to an IT power supply system.
