What This Code Means

This condition indicates that the notification appliance circuits (NACs) have been manually turned off by pressing the Alarm Silence key while an alarm condition is still active.

Common Causes

  • 1The Alarm Silence key was pressed during an active alarm condition
  • 2The Alarm Silence key was pressed following a Drill activation

Resolution Steps

Press the Reset key to clear the silenced condition. The condition will also be cleared by pressing the Drill key or by the activation of a subsequent new alarm which resounds the system NACs.
