What This Code Means

A trouble condition or fault exists on phone line 2.

Common Causes

1Phone line voltage drops below 3 VDC
2Phone line service interrupted for longer than 45 seconds
3Dialer cannot get through to the central station
4Physical fault in the phone line wiring

Resolution Steps

Monitor the DC voltage present on the lines. If phone line voltage drops below 3 VDC and is not corrected within approximately 40 seconds, an audible trouble signal will sound and the panel will report a line fault trouble over the remaining phone line. Ensure the phone lines are programmed properly.
