What This Code Means
A trouble condition or fault exists on phone line 2.
Common Causes
- 1Phone line voltage drops below 3 VDC
- 2Phone line service interrupted for longer than 45 seconds
- 3Dialer cannot get through to the central station
- 4Physical fault in the phone line wiring
Resolution Steps
Monitor the DC voltage present on the lines. If phone line voltage drops below 3 VDC and is not corrected within approximately 40 seconds, an audible trouble signal will sound and the panel will report a line fault trouble over the remaining phone line. Ensure the phone lines are programmed properly.
