What This Code Means

The panel has detected a short between any power source and earth ground.

Common Causes

1Short between terminals 12, 15, 18, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, or 34 and earth ground
2Short between the batteries and earth ground
3Faulty field wiring

Resolution Steps

To determine the location of the short, place a DC volt meter with ground on terminal 1 and positive on terminal 52. The meter should be continuously fluctuating between 0 and 2.5 volts. Remove and leave off field wiring from the panel until the meter reads in this range. You can also use Accu-Zone Troubleshooting (Mode 25) to determine the location.
